Whatsapp Support To Be Discontinued On Lower-end Smartphones By 2020

Most lower end smartphone users might already be encountering messages notifying them about the pending discontinue of support for their phones that will take effect by the year 2020. Its no surprise most of the famous brands like Blackberry, Nokia, Samsung e.t.c had some of their top of the line series removed (hell yeah!).
For Android phones running below Kitkat, Nokia Lumia Windows phones on 8.1 Update and below are on the red line not to mention many Windows phones below 8.1 that were stopped way too earlier.

In a digital world we're living in now, messaging apps like Whatsapp have widely became popular so having a smartphone that no longer supports Whatsapp is a pain especially if you're into digital messaging.
If you're asking what you could about it then all I can tell you is to update your phone if only there is an update available; let's say you are on Android 2.** but your phone can update to Kitkat then you try to do that, if you are on a Windows phone unfortunately only a few can support Windows 10 mobile check here to view devices that can upgrade to Windows 10.
Thanks for your time Readerđź’–
